Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Cordario, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 39thth minute of the game Augusto Cordario who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but El Inter's Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilfredo Arce stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Augusto Cordario blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo having to make a save. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Cordario in the 51st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Filomeno Montrell in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo saved El Inter from getting behind. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when El Inter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Filomeno Montrell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velez Sarsfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filomeno Montrell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leo Havier during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leo Havier hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 68th match minute, El Inter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leo Havier to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to El Inter getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Fermin Richie hit a great ball. Ronan Mistral hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute, Ronan Mistral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Velez Sarsfield booed when El Inter was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fermin Richie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erwin Huygens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barni Lattapiat, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Wilfredo Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erwin Huygens having to interfere. Amadeo-Raúl Carrizo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacinto Quilino, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Velez Sarsfield walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
