Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Belo in the 10th minute of play forced Cayastacito AFC's goalkeeper Mariano Katia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, Cayastacito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Pasqual came free, but Mariano Katia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 12 minutes of play, Uquía's Elpidio Pasqual made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The referee showed Carlos Lameiras the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 19th match minute, Cayastacito AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Lameiras to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute, Rosendo Pes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Uquía fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Mariano Katia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabian Astigar in the 26th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, Cayastacito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Pasqual came free, but Mariano Katia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mariano Katia made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Rosendo Pes sent off a good shot on target. Augusto Gartzea hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute, Fabian Astigar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Katia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elpidio Pasqual got free with Mariano Katia in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 84th minute, Rosendo Pes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mariano Katia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-12. After some careless play in the Cayastacito AFC defense, Elpidio Pasqual kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mariano Katia. The Cayastacito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mariano Katia should have stopped the shot. In the 90th minute of the match, Rosendo Pes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Mariano Katia was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Romeo Belo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mariano Katia. That made the score 0-14 in the 92 minute of play. Cayastacito AFC's Mariano Katia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Cayastacito AFC from getting a goal against them. Uquía's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
