After a defensive mix-up in Salinas FC's zone, Reynaldo Veto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Maule came out of the goal and Reynaldo Veto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Paolo Manni put in a rough tackle. After 13 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Salinas FC! In the 15th minute there was a penalty for Nirvana Fc. Fernan Baldovino stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Paulino Maule. 0-2. Salinas FC's Paulino Maule played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaspar Hodei in the 18th minute of play. Paulino Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaspar Hodei in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Nirvana Fc's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Laureano Henry fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Higinio Salvadore charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Gaspar Hodei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nirvana Fc's supporters rose to their feet, but Gaspar Hodei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Maule breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Laureano Henry could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Eliseo Ramond made a huge save. 33 minutes into the game, Tomás Burni was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nirvana Fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salinas FC the free kick. Fernan Baldovino struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Paulino Maule didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nirvana Fc. Paulino Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Baldovino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Salinas FC's Elvio Lohitzun got a free kick in the 40th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernan Baldovino to make the kick off. In the 92nd minute, Agustin Herensuge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Laureano Henry had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Salinas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Nirvana Fc's performance. The match ended with a win for Nirvana Fc.
