After recieving a nice pass, Girondo FC's Severo Cresenciano tried to score from far away in the 30th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Matias Curcio kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 minutes, Jaroslaw Wejta made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Islas Malvinas Argentinas's Lütfullah Başoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lütfullah Başoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaroslaw Wejta in the 40th minute of play. Mateo Ignado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Urbasa kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 47th minute of the match, Honorio Urbasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Leo Montrel was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some careless play in the Girondo FC defense, Honorio Urbasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leo Montrel. The Girondo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Montrel should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Islas Malvinas Argentinas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matias Curcio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Girondo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leo Montrel should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Girondo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Islas Malvinas Argentinas.
