After 46 played minutes, Matadores's Fulgencio Chepe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guido Lizer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Matadores reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Guido Lizer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Telesforo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute of the match Fulgencio Chepe shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guido Lizer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Guido Lizer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Vallander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anselmo Prejun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabriel Vallander during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gabriel Vallander hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Monteagudo booed when Matadores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position.
