In the 16th minute Wolfwalkers F.C. were awarded a corner. Arnoldo Canor went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Arnoldo Canor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Rafaela Fútbol Club's Adam Dagenais did a great save. In the 17th minute, Aquilino Luke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adam Dagenais was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 22nd minute, Aquilino Luke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 25 minutes, Godfredo Mino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rafaela Fútbol Club and the Wolfwalkers F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Wolfwalkers F.C. booed when Rafaela Fútbol Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Godfredo Mino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Dagenais made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquilino Luke in the 26th minute of play. Higinio Osoitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Telo Meto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Higinio Osoitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Adam Dagenais showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquilino Luke, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the game, Rafaela Fútbol Club's Higinio Osoitz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Telo Meto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Gavino Gomezs short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Telo Meto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Christian Kinnman was substituted for Israel Ishmael. Wolfwalkers F.C. made a substitution. Sebastian Berto replaced Carlos Patxi. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Christian Kinnman to strike the kick off in the second half. During the 56th minute of the match Godfredo Mino completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Godfredo Mino a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The throw-in from Higinio Osoitz in the 64th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Arnoldo Canor. Christian Kinnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Christian Kinnman came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Wolfwalkers F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Kinnman couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Christian Kinnman put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Adam Dagenais. Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Telo Meto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramon Txilar in the 73rd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Wolfwalkers F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gavino Gomez came free, but Telo Meto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Emilio Manilan fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rafaela Fútbol Club's protests and gave Emilio Manilan a yellow card for diving instead. Rafaela Fútbol Club's Marcelo Batista was substituted for Roque Damario. The goalkeeper, Adam Dagenais, was totally fooled by Wolfwalkers F.C.'s Fabricio Leoncio, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side.
