Leon Gonzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 31 minutes into the game, Teobaldo Munio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Leon Gonzo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 34 minutes into the game, Club Atlético Ranchos's Teobaldo Munio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leon Gonzo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. The supporters of Rancios CdB booed when Club Atlético Ranchos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Munio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th minute, Teobaldo Munio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leon Gonzo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. After the first half Club Atlético Ranchos were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Thanks to some nice moves Evelio Arano could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Leon Gonzo however easily saved by the left post. Teofilo Rosio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Celestino Reynardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Tomás Toribio kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Silvano Ruisko managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Ranchos's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Ruisko was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
