The supporters of Atletic Villa Belgrano booed when Los PicaPiedras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Navarro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3 minutes into the match, Los PicaPiedras's goal looked a bit too open when Wictor Björkkvist came free, but Florentino Haimar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Los PicaPiedras fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Los PicaPiedras's Isidro Giraldo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vladimiro Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Andrei Leluțiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atletic Villa Belgrano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los PicaPiedras the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atletic Villa Belgrano's Andrei Leluțiu got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Siro Bitxintxo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los PicaPiedras's supporters rose to their feet, but Siro Bitxintxo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute Dalmacio Munio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saverio Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute, Andrei Leluțiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florentino Haimar was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Isidro Giraldo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 21 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Saverio Urko was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When Los PicaPiedras's Vladimiro Pio in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atletic Villa Belgrano's goalie prevented a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Atletic Villa Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Pio came free, but Saverio Urko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wictor Björkkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 30 minutes into the game, when Baldomiro Pepillo put in a rough tackle. Siro Bitxintxo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 34 minutes into the match, Atletic Villa Belgrano's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Pio came free, but Saverio Urko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute, Wictor Björkkvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atletic Villa Belgrano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Florentino Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wictor Björkkvist in the 39th minute of play. When Wictor Björkkvist came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Atletic Villa Belgrano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wictor Björkkvist couldn't finish the play.
In the 52nd minute Wictor Björkkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florentino Haimar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Wictor Björkkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Los PicaPiedras got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Munio. German Navarro hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los PicaPiedras's zone, Sivert Ingemarsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Florentino Haimar came out of the goal and Sivert Ingemarsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los PicaPiedras's Siro Bitxintxo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Saverio Urko but with some difficulty. Cayetano Rafel kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Saverio Urko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vladimiro Pio in the 78th minute. Wictor Björkkvist took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentino Haimar. Florentino Haimar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Sivert Ingemarsson took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Florentino Haimar. If Wictor Björkkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Haimar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wictor Björkkvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Los PicaPiedras's Florentino Haimar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sivert Ingemarsson in the 95th minute of play. Los PicaPiedras's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
