Joel Nicholas made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Sebastiaan Gavilanes sent off a good shot on target. Fulgencio Osorio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Onofre Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Genaro Padro might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joel Nicholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Padro ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 龚翔宇 in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orbay Ergener saved Piñeyro from getting behind. In the 14th minute, 龚翔宇 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Orbay Ergener was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Güngör Kayhan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leña y Leña's supporters rose to their feet, but Güngör Kayhan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orbay Ergener breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the game, Leña y Leña's 龚翔宇 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orbay Ergener made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Genaro Padro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Leña y Leña's 龚翔宇 nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Orbay Ergener made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Joel Nicholas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Onofre Covarrubias's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Joel Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Padro in the 33rd minute of the match. Piñeyro's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paulo Odol in the 34th minute. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Cuarto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Joel Nicholas quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 38 minutes into the match, Leña y Leña's 龚翔宇 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Orbay Ergener narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 43 played minutes Piñeyro got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Osorio. Orbay Ergener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 龚翔宇, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Emil Larsfält managed to get in a good position for a shot. Leña y Leña's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Larsfält was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orbay Ergener breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

If 龚翔宇 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When 龚翔宇 came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Leña y Leña fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 龚翔宇 couldn't finish the play. If 龚翔宇 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 58 played minutes Piñeyro got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Incendio. Maximiliano Gauargi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Joel Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Padro in the 63rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Larsfält in the 67th minute of play forced Piñeyro's goalkeeper Orbay Ergener to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Genaro Padro notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Leña y Leña's Joel Nicholas. Joel Nicholas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Genaro Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Orbay Ergener made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Larsfält in the 79th minute. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Leña y Leña's goalkeeper Joel Nicholas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes in the game, Genaro Padro dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 龚翔宇 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Piñeyro supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Leña y Leña's performance. The match ended with a win for Leña y Leña.
