After 47 played minutes Anguilan got a freekick which was hit by Omar Federigo. After the first half Piñeyro were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Fabio Bergomi made the kick off in the second half. Tobias Txaran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Onofre Covarrubias, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes Anguilan's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godfredo Calisto who took care of the corner kick. After 82 minutes of play, Piñeyro's Onofre Covarrubias made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Txaran was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tobias Txaran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Onofre Covarrubias in the 86th minute of the match. Genaro Padro struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Tobias Txaran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piñeyro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Padro in the 91st minute of play forced Anguilan's goalkeeper Tobias Txaran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st match minute, Anguilan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Salamon to maneuver through the defense.
