He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leña y Leña reached it. Reynaldo Barrionuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emil Larsfält in the 5th minute of the match. Leña y Leña made a substitution. Ceferino Ascencio replaced 龚翔宇. In the 8th minute, Nichifor Arnăuțescu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Moretti Fútbol Club's Reynaldo Barrionuevo didn't even have to move. Reynaldo Barrionuevo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Ascencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Moretti Fútbol Club's zone, Ceferino Ascencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Barrionuevo came out of the goal and Ceferino Ascencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute Emil Larsfält shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leña y Leña's Joel Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Mouricio in the 40th minute of play. 46 minutes into the match, Moretti Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Larsfält came free, but Reynaldo Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reynaldo Barrionuevo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Ascencio, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Ascencio in the 49th minute of play forced Moretti Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Reynaldo Barrionuevo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Leña y Leña were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Reynaldo Barrionuevo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. With an all-out effort, Leña y Leña's Reynaldo Barrionuevo threw himself towards the right post 73 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ceferino Ascencio, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The Leña y Leña fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when Leña y Leña's Ceferino Ascencio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 84th minute Ceferino Ascencio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynaldo Barrionuevo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 87th minute, Emil Larsfält made a precise shot to the right of Reynaldo Barrionuevo. Moretti Fútbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11.
