In the 26thth minute of the game Vinicio Teofilio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manantial's Anastasio Piarres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Anastasio Piarres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Hori in the 27th minute of play. Miguel Laffitte hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vinicio Teofilio in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Piarres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
