Elvio Elorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darman Ardiansyah in the 18th minute of the match. If Leonardo Derwin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Japy Man fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Japy Man's Darman Ardiansyah looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Leonardo Derwin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christof Bruyneel was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darman Ardiansyah in the 36th minute of play forced Alumbrera 's goalkeeper Elvio Elorri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Japy Man's Victor Inge got a free kick in the 38th minute. Leonardo Derwin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christof Bruyneel having to make a save. Darman Ardiansyah who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Elvio Elorri when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leonardo Derwin to make the kick off. If Darman Ardiansyah had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonardo Derwin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christof Bruyneel having to interfere. Alumbrera 's Elvio Elorri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agustin Indalecio in the 63rd minute of play. Gu Yuan Rong received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Christof Bruyneel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Alumbrera 's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Inge came free, but Elvio Elorri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Darman Ardiansyah hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Leonardo Derwin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Christof Bruyneel. That made the score 2-2 in the 89 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Japy Man's Darman Ardiansyah got a free kick in the 91st minute. After a rather tough play, Japy Man's Victor Inge got a free kick in the 94th minute. Japy Man succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Alumbrera had controlled the match.
