After 18 played minutes Sesteadero FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Goren. Sesteadero FC's Sergio Millano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eliseo Herena in the 19th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Eliseo Herena managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stronghold S.A's supporters rose to their feet, but Eliseo Herena was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Millano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sulo Ahola scored 1-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Millano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stronghold S.A's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sulo Ahola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Sulo Ahola ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sergio Millano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliseo Herena to make the kick off. After 93 minutes, Americo Hats mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sesteadero FC and the Stronghold S.A players grew even worse after the yellow card. Stronghold S.A made a substitution. Amado Mero replaced Guido Franco. In the 95th minute, Americo Hats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Stronghold S.A had played much better football throughout.
