Rafael Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Rafael Dei came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Voluntad AFC's Isaias Sal. But to his dismay, Isaias Sal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Voluntad AFC's Agustin Raymundo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Haimar in the 10th minute of play. Erubiel Gurutz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Agustin Raymundo. Voluntad AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ciro Theobald hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes Quilmes Atletico Club got a freekick which was hit by Herminio Paul. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Benicio Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Quilmes Atletico Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Botello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agustin Raymundo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafael Dei was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Ciro Theobald capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ciro Theobald really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Quilmes Atletico Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Gaspar Ayala scored to the left of an out of position Rafael Dei, making the score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Isaias Sal got free with Rafael Dei in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agustin Raymundo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Haimar, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Voluntad AFC's Isaias Sal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rafael Dei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rafael Dei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaspar Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Raymundo having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Voluntad AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Raymundo came free, but Agustin Raymundo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes Quilmes Atletico Club got a freekick which was hit by Leon Sowa. Rafael Dei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciro Theobald in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carlos Haimar was the one to do the kick off. Rafael Dei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaspar Ayala, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 52nd match minute, Quilmes Atletico Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erubiel Gurutz to maneuver through the defense. Teodosio Lop hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Carlos Haimar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee ignored Voluntad AFC's protests and gave Teodosio Lop a yellow card for diving instead. Teodosio Lop kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Leon Raymundo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Agustin Raymundo firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a rather tough play, Voluntad AFC's Russel Carbery got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After 75 played minutes Quilmes Atletico Club got a freekick which was hit by Benicio Botello. Leon Raymundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustin Raymundo having to interfere. In the 78th minute Carlos Haimar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustin Raymundo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ciro Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 83rd minute, Esteve Tebaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leon Raymundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Agustin Raymundo made a huge save. When Carlos Haimar came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Quilmes Atletico Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Haimar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Quilmes Atletico Club's Roque Barbosa got a free kick in the 94th minute. In the 95th minute, Gaspar Ayala made a precise shot to the right of Rafael Dei. Quilmes Atletico Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Voluntad AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Quilmes Atletico Club had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
