After 36 minutes, Alejandro Ugaitz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Central Norte and the Celta Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aureliano Edwardo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Central Norte's zone, Hilario Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Jax came out of the goal and Hilario Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 51 played minutes Central Norte got a freekick which was hit by Lisandro Qwinton. If Hilario Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduardo Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Sein having to interfere. Celta Fc's Elvio Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejandro Ugaitz in the 60th minute of play. Hilario Ramos received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Raimundo Jax came out and tried to block the shot, but Hilario Ramos slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 61st minute. Raimundo Jax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hilario Ramos, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After 74 played minutes Celta Fc got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Fe. 79 minutes into the game, Central Norte's Lisandro Qwinton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elvio Sein made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Aureliano Edwardo kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Celta Fc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
