After 3 minutes of play, LOS PIRATAS's Romeo Tomi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorato Manex in the 10th minute of play forced Lavalle's goalkeeper Reynaldo Cuarto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lavalle's Reynaldo Cuarto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Manex in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Gregorio Macerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS PIRATAS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 23rd minute, LOS PIRATAS's Augusto Naldo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Augusto Naldo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of LOS PIRATAS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Augusto Naldo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Celestino Ofelio walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Matias Jakobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Sal in the 28th minute of the match. Maximo Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reynaldo Cuarto having to interfere. LOS PIRATAS's Romeo Tomi got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gregorio Macerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Matias Jakobe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raimundo Sal in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Maximo Ebardo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 47th match minute, Lavalle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Jago to maneuver through the defense. Reynaldo Cuarto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gregorio Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
