When Jonas Quirce fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ledesma FC's protests and gave Jonas Quirce a yellow card for diving instead. After 43 played minutes Ledesma FC got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Quirce. Lisandro Montes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cesar Donostia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Lisandro Montes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cesar Donostia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

The wind increased when Bruno Louis made the kick off in the second half. Ledesma FC's Cesar Donostia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Ledesma FC from getting a goal against them. Domingos Pueblo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 83rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Daniel Sundgren came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Sundgren couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Lisandro Montes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Cesar Donostia, 0-8. SAN JOSE FUTBOL CLUB played a much better game than Ledesma FC and deserved their victory. The Ledesma FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
