After 6 minutes, Emiliano Maore mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Los Toldos FC and the Pontevedra F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Emiliano Maore hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute, Ricardo Feliu made a precise shot to the right of Jonas Caetano. Los Toldos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Feliu in the 11th minute of play forced Los Toldos FC's goalkeeper Jonas Caetano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Los Toldos FC's Eloy Edur sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Librado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute Clodoveo Mikeldi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Caetano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Clodoveo Mikeldi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Pontevedra F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Mikeldi couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Genaro Argina during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Pontevedra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Argina. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Eloy Edur made the kick off in the second half. Jonas Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Mikeldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Los Toldos FC's Jonas Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardo Feliu in the 53rd minute of play. Hernan Librado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Edur in the 54th minute of the match. Ricardo Feliu's late challenge caught a Los Toldos FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ricardo Feliu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st minute, Ricardo Feliu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Clodoveo Mikeldi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonas Caetano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eloy Edur in the 70th minute of play forced Pontevedra F.C.'s goalkeeper Hernan Librado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ricardo Feliu might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonas Caetano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ricardo Feliu ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonas Caetano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clodoveo Mikeldi went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When Alfredo Naike fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Toldos FC's protests and gave Alfredo Naike a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Los Toldos FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Alfredo Naike hit a great ball. Eloy Edur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Hernan Librado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Librado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Frasquito in the 97th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Pontevedra F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
