The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 16 minutes, Omar Artizar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Omar Artizar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julian Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Artizar in the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Rosendo Viviano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Julian Osoitz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Omar Artizar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Omar Artizar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Osoitz was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 37th match minute, Racing was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Frasco to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Omar Artizar in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julian Osoitz saved Ramadita FC from getting behind. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Herauso was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Desiderio Frasco during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some careless play in the Ramadita FC defense, Adan Estavan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Osoitz. The Ramadita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Osoitz should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Adan Estavan in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Osoitz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Adan Estavan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Racing's Adan Estavan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. Julian Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Estavan in the 90th minute of the match. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ramadita FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Siro Beila was slow to take the kick. During this time Racing's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Racing's Siro Beila to fire away a dangerous shot which Julian Osoitz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Arnulfo Piarres hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Racing played a much better game than Ramadita FC and deserved their victory. The Ramadita FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
