The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Philib McCollion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Trezeguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Kalle Lest managed to get in a good position for a shot. Expreso Suizo's supporters rose to their feet, but Kalle Lest was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Lauro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maximo Lauro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Gareca in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Maximo Pacifico made a precise shot to the right of Maximo Lauro. C.A Costa Azul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Maximo Lauro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard Gareca's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. When Expreso Suizo's Richard Gareca in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A Costa Azul's goalie prevented a goal. Maximo Lauro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalle Lest, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kalle Lest's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maximo Lauro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute Benigno Eguzki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A Costa Azul's Maximo Lauro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalle Lest in the 28th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, Expreso Suizo's Maximo Pacifico made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maximo Lauro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kalle Lest struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Maximo Lauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Expreso Suizo. In the 40th minute Richard Gareca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maximo Pacifico struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Maximo Lauro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Expreso Suizo. In the 43rd minute Maximo Pacifico shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Lauro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Richard Gareca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximo Lauro having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for David Trezeguet to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Maximo Pacifico shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maximo Lauro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With a little luck, C.A Costa Azul's Maximo Lauro got control of the ball when Kalle Lest tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 61 minutes, Maximo Pacifico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Expreso Suizo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Pacifico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. C.A Costa Azul's Ceferino Piorno was substituted for Federico Palben. In the 68th play minute Kalle Lest came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maximo Lauro. 0-4. A collision led to Expreso Suizo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Eloy Totakoxe hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Expreso Suizo's Kalle Lest sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximo Lauro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute of the match Expreso Suizo got a corner. C.A Costa Azul's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maximo Pacifico ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Expreso Suizo's Maximo Pacifico to fire away a dangerous shot which Maximo Lauro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot 82 in the game by Maximo Pacifico from a close distance when the talented Maximo Lauro managed to make a qualified save. C.A Costa Azul's players were relieved. Ildefonso Luzaide kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. The supporters of C.A Costa Azul booed when Expreso Suizo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florian Bobrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristobal Gaitan, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Richard Gareca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Expreso Suizo getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Esteban Theodore hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Kalle Lest made a precise shot to the right of Maximo Lauro. C.A Costa Azul's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Expreso Suizo played a much better game than C.A Costa Azul and deserved their victory. The C.A Costa Azul players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
