After a rather tough play, Fracaso Total AFC's Eloy Cordarell got a free kick in the 44th minute. If Oscar Garaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 47 minutes into the game, Alejo Kauldi threw the ball into play from the sideline. La Gagoneta's Eliseo Iraido quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Manfredo Zanussi to strike the kick off in the second half. Manfredo Zanussi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Igor Jaunti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Manfredo Zanussi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 69 minute of play. In the 73rd minute Manfredo Zanussi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Jaunti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Gagoneta's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
