The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eduardo Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ionel Cândea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bonifacio Enetz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gaudencio Perez in the 12th minute of the match. Ionel Cândea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vadim Tarasenko in the 14th minute. If Vadim Tarasenko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Enetz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Pere, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Bonifacio Enetz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The PerroMuerto fans cheered their team off the field, for while river FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
