Parravicini FC's Rene Rufo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Mark in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ramona's zone, Ramiro Enmanuel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delfim Freitas came out of the goal and Ramiro Enmanuel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aristides Jobo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Rene Rufo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aristides Jobo to strike the kick off in the second half. Parravicini FC's Cristobal Papo got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 57th minute of the match, Ramiro Enmanuel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Delfim Freitas saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramiro Enmanuel in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Delfim Freitas saved Ramona from getting behind. Virgilio Mark received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Rene Rufo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ramona's goalkeeper Delfim Freitas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Mark's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rene Rufo was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Delfim Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Enmanuel in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Parravicini FC's Zeledon Marko got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Teo Rocio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rene Rufo. Parravicini FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th minute, Cristobal Papo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ramona fans cheered their team off the field, for while Parravicini FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
