LOS GRANATES F.C's Ceferino Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Orixe in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Feliciano Orixe made a precise shot to the right of Ceferino Abreu. LOS GRANATES F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Ismael Montxo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LOS GRANATES F.C's protests and gave Ismael Montxo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Nacional booed when LOS GRANATES F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes LOS GRANATES F.C got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Bazil. When Ismael Montxo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. The supporters of Nacional booed when LOS GRANATES F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ismael Montxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Amor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliciano Orixe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ceferino Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliciano Orixe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliciano Orixe succeeded in the game's 42nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Feliciano Orixe might have been able to make a better finish in the 51st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ceferino Abreu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliciano Orixe ran back to his position shaking his head. A hard shot 58 in the game by Marcelo Amor from a close distance when the talented Ceferino Abreu managed to make a qualified save. LOS GRANATES F.C's players were relieved. After 60 minutes, Marcelo Amor made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. LOS GRANATES F.C's Ceferino Abreu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcelo Amor succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-6 in the 64th playminute. Marcelo Amor in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ceferino Abreu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Marcelo Amor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelo Amor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ceferino Abreu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 71 minutes, Augusto Bazil mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LOS GRANATES F.C and the Nacional players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 71st match minute, LOS GRANATES F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Bazil to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute Feliciano Orixe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceferino Abreu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ceferino Abreu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliciano Orixe, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Nacional played a much better game than LOS GRANATES F.C and deserved their victory. The LOS GRANATES F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
