Brúnó Kovács fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Lucado having to interfere. Rogelio Lucado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brúnó Kovács, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Yuan Jing Quan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cobo's supporters rose to their feet, but Yuan Jing Quan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogelio Lucado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by J.J Pizzuti got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Celestino Gasteiz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 52 played minutes Hermengildo Lugo rounded Cobo's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by J.J Pizzuti in the 56th minute of play forced Real Madriguera FC's goalkeeper Rogelio Lucado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Lucado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from J.J Pizzuti in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Real Madriguera FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Dante Cordero hit a great ball. Marcos Peruxu came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Madriguera FC's Hermengildo Lugo. But to his dismay, Hermengildo Lugo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dante Cordero in the 72nd minute of play forced Cobo's goalkeeper Marcos Peruxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hermengildo Lugo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Marcos Peruxu made a huge save. Dante Cordero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rogelio Lucado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from J.J Pizzuti, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Hermengildo Lugo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 91stth minute tested the skills of Marcos Peruxu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The Cobo manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Real Madriguera FC to win.
