The A.C.SHARKS fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when A.C.SHARKS's Gustaf Ahlström looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Cuevas defense, Faustino Quico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Berbiz. The Cuevas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Berbiz should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Faustino Quico notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Cuevas's Angel Berbiz. Angel Berbiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Marcelito Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Curcio in the 21st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bichiko Fuertes in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Angel Berbiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Angel Berbiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herminio Libertad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angel Berbiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faustino Quico in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahgoub El-Khateeb in the 39th minute of play forced Cuevas's goalkeeper Angel Berbiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ruben Jeraldo charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 61st minute Gustaf Ahlström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Berbiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.C.SHARKS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
