In the 27th minute, Gaston Bartuelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match Andres Berasko shot from a long distance. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Elias Iago made the kick off in the second half. Primitivo Gilen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bonifacio Firmo in the 54th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Boca Juniors's zone, Elias Iago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Primitivo Gilen came out of the goal and Elias Iago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Orlando Matxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Boca Juniors! Primitivo Gilen had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Baltasar Bittor's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Primitivo Gilen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Firmo in the 71st minute of the match. In the 71st match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Gonchan to maneuver through the defense. After 77 played minutes, THE KELLOGGS CLUB's Baltasar Bittor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Primitivo Gilen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in THE KELLOGGS CLUB reached it. 78 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Bonifacio Firmo came free, but Primitivo Gilen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 81 minutes, Orlando Matxin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Matxin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaston Bartuelo hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Orlando Matxin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Paulo Tello hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 94 minutes of play, THE KELLOGGS CLUB's Bonifacio Firmo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Primitivo Gilen was left in no man's land by his defense there! 98 minutes into the match, Orlando Matxin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Silverio Tanio, 1-2. Boca Juniors's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
