He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Grecia AFC reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Grecia AFC's zone, Elvio Gaitano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Tximitx came out of the goal and Elvio Gaitano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute Eriberto Chale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Salvatore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Omar Salvatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eriberto Chale, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Grecia AFC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. In the 97th minute, Modesto Cordarrell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Grecia AFC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Devoto to win.
