Edelmiro Rutenio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florian Blochowiak, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute, Inocencio Hondo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Rutenio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. If Florian Blochowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, A.A.Estudiantes Río IV's Basilio Claude got a free kick in the 38th minute. Edelmiro Rutenio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme Tristan in the 39th minute of play. Florian Blochowiak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edelmiro Rutenio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anacleto Oier in the 43rd minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florian Blochowiak was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, A.A.Estudiantes Río IV's Edelmiro Rutenio got control of the ball when Nicasio Jacindo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
