The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Urtsua in the 13th minute of play forced Cambaceres's goalkeeper Gregorio Palos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gregorio Palos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anastasio Ursino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the game, Anastasio Ursino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gregorio Palos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gregorio Palos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artturi Kaven showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Bertran in the 74th minute of the match.
