After a defensive mix-up in Graneros's zone, Fausto Caton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Attilio Perna came out of the goal and Fausto Caton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fausto Caton in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Attilio Perna saved Graneros from getting behind. Feliberto Otsandos short, quick shot in the 30thth minute got Sixto Franco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sixto Franco came out and tried to block the shot, but Christian Lesardo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 43rd minute. Feliberto Otsando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
