An unexpectedly hard shot by Lisandro Lordi in the 25th minute of play forced Miami Mobsters's goalkeeper Amadeo Maura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Marino acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 31st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Claudinho Tepedino. Isaac Sal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Amadeo Maura tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Cugats short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Leandro Marino to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Lisandro Lordi sped through Miami Mobsters's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Amadeo Maura. If Luis Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Miami Mobsters's goalkeeper Amadeo Maura, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 44 minutes Miami Mobsters's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Urbano Sandalio who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Villa Dálmine's Basilio Arano getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 46 minutes into the game, Ambrosio Orlanda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miami Mobsters's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Villa Dálmine the free kick. The supporters of Villa Dálmine booed when Miami Mobsters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Orlanda didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Victorino Urbasa made the kick off in the second half. Lisandro Lordi who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Amadeo Maura when he managed to save the team from getting behind.
