The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Epifanio Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Erramun in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5thth minute of the game Guido Olentzaro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Gogo Hug was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Grütly's Epifanio Boniel got control of the ball when Julio Erramun tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Oliviero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Hug having to interfere. 17 minutes into the match, Guido Olentzaro notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Gogo Hug. Gogo Hug was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gogo Hug took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Oliviero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grütly's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Guido Olentzaro in the 27th minute. The corner ended in Guido Olentzaro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Gogo Hug did a great save. Cecilio Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the game, Simon Atarratze recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Epifanio Boniel. Simon Atarratze showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, Julio Erramun had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Boniel. Grütly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Erramun was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Gogo Hug made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Oliviero in the 46th minute of play. In the 47th minute Julio Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Grütly's Cecilio Mirande got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's Gogo Hug played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cecilio Mirande in the 53rd minute of play. Epifanio Boniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Dubardo in the 60th minute of the match. 62 minutes into the match, Edgardo Pio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Epifanio Boniel. Grütly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgardo Pio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Grütly made a substitution. Fidel Gomesano replaced Guido Olentzaro. In the 68th minute Julio Erramun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Epifanio Boniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Hug made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Fidel Gomesano sent off a good shot on target. 72 minutes into the match, Fidel Gomesano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gogo Hug, 4-2. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Grütly's Tomas Oliviero in the 80th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gogo Hug was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB through an amazing save. Epifanio Boniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Gonzalez in the 81st minute of play. Epifanio Boniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Gonzalez, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Fidel Gomesano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gogo Hug. TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fidel Gomesano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3. Tomas Oliviero hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes TATENGUE FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Santos Montxo. Epifanio Boniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tolek Burowski went, in the 97th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score.
