Spectators: 7770 (Terracing: 5828, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ismael Baumer kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's Flóki Cabezudo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Natalio Heli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 4 minutes into the game, Flóki Cabezudo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Natalio Heli. Flóki Cabezudo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 11thth minute of the game Flóki Cabezudo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tierra del Fuego FC's Natalio Heli was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Honorio Hori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ismael Baumer in the 28th minute of play. After 29 played minutes Stellenbosch got a freekick which was hit by Mauro Frutos. Flóki Cabezudo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natalio Heli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Natalio Heli made an important save on a dangerous shot by Flóki Cabezudo in the 34th minute. Mauro Frutos hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 37th minute Rodrigo Pirmin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorio Hori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Stellenbosch defense, Dario Orlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Honorio Hori. The Stellenbosch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Honorio Hori should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flóki Cabezudo got free with Natalio Heli in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Baumer in the 46th minute of play forced Stellenbosch's goalkeeper Honorio Hori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Flóki Cabezudo to strike the kick off in the second half. Flóki Cabezudo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natalio Heli having to interfere. Stellenbosch's Gerardo Beltran was substituted for Cristián Pavon. 62 minutes into the match, Stellenbosch's goalkeeper Honorio Hori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dario Orlan. Natalio Heli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Isias in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Stellenbosch getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Gerardo Beltran hit a great ball. The supporters of Tierra del Fuego FC booed when Stellenbosch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Beltran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Natalio Heli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teobaldo Isias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Natalio Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Isias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natalio Heli was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. In the 87th minute of the match, Dario Orlan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Honorio Hori was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Despite being the better team, Tierra del Fuego FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
