The referee ignored Tiburones Pacufantásticos's protests and gave Diego Rafe a yellow card for diving instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cascadia United's Constantino Neto was substituted for Abel Neron. Isaac Uxio might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Rocco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isaac Uxio ran back to his position shaking his head. 93 minutes into the match, Cascadia United's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Uxio came free, but Leonel Rocco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
