An unexpectedly hard shot by Emil Vabamüürlane in the 8th minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 11th match minute, Espirillo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rico Migachev to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Froylan in the 12th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Los pibitos de mardel's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Baraquiel came free, but Aristides Orzaize reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 23rd minute of the match Los pibitos de mardel got a corner. Espirillo FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emil Vabamüürlane ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jorge Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domingos Froylan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Arturo Edwardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Orzaize saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Los pibitos de mardel's Aristides Orzaize got control of the ball when Freddy Lamberto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Espirillo FC's Jorge Iztal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Rami in the 34th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Baraquiel got free with Aristides Orzaize in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aristides Orzaize showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gregorio Hotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Rami in the 43rd minute of play forced Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Julian Rami made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Espirillo FC's goalkeeper Jorge Iztal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serafino Urbez. Espirillo FC's Aaron Cutberto got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Los pibitos de mardel's Igor Oriche got a free kick in the 56th minute. Julian Ramis short, quick shot in the 64thth minute got Jorge Iztal to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Los pibitos de mardel's Serafino Urbez got a free kick in the 68th minute. Espirillo FC made a substitution. Cristo Elia replaced Nicanor Baraquiel. The supporters of Espirillo FC booed when Los pibitos de mardel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafino Urbez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aristides Orzaize made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aaron Cutberto in the 73rd minute of play. The Los pibitos de mardel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The Los pibitos de mardel players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Espirillo FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
