Gabriel Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siro Nuno, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute Valentin Feliu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Zacarias Umea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Urtats. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Dave Basso got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th match minute, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Benet to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Dave Basso kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gabriel Urtats. That made the score 2-0 in the 21 minute of play. Fabricio Inocente hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Valentin Feliu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eugenio Nesto. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Basso in the 26th minute of play. Gabriel Urtats stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Basso's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Lars Benet took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Gabriel Urtats to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Feliu in the 35th minute of play forced Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goalkeeper Eugenio Nesto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Feliu came free, but Eugenio Nesto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Nesto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Kaan Başeğmez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Areco FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 41 minutes, Fabricio Inocente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabricio Inocente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 44 played minutes Deportivo Pomelo Nenene got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Cuartio. Gabriel Urtats showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Atarrabi was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes in the game Ismael Barros did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Maximino Atarrabi. In the 57th minute Maximino Atarrabi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Nesto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dave Basso in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gabriel Urtats saved Areco FC from getting behind. Gabriel Urtats stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Basso's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the game, Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Dave Basso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gabriel Urtats made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Ciro Tello was substituted for Zacarias Umea. After some careless play in the Areco FC defense, Dave Basso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Urtats. The Areco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Urtats should have stopped the shot. Maximino Atarrabi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eugenio Nesto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. The throw-in from Ismael Barros in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Leonel Libertad. 78 minutes into the game, Ismael Barros threw the ball into play from the sideline. Deportivo Pomelo Nenene's Leonel Libertad quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Areco FC's Gabriel Urtats played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Tello in the 82nd minute of play. Ismael Barros hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Gabriel Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Benet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Urtats made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dave Basso in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Areco FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Pomelo Nenene.
