An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Fanuco in the 9th minute of play forced C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Evelio Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otto Mæland made in the 12th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Fabian Polo however managed to control. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Ryszard Nalaskowski put in a rough tackle. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GRINGO FC! Otto Mæland hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Freddy Fanuco's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Evelio Salvadore firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind GRINGO FC's goalkeeper Leopoldo Lop, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sven-Hendrik Ohmer scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leopoldo Lop, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 32 minutes, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Esparta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sven-Hendrik Ohmer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 33rd match minute, GRINGO FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Otto Mæland to maneuver through the defense. Leopoldo Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Hendrik Ohmer in the 34th minute of play. C.A.Esparta's Evelio Salvadore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save C.A.Esparta from getting a goal against them. In the 45th play minute Anier Selatse came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Evelio Salvadore. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Hendrik Ohmer made a kick off. In the 50th minute, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute, Miguel Ángel Colombatti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 60th minute, Sven-Hendrik Ohmer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Lop was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. C.A.Esparta's Luis Galván was substituted for Julio Chus. C.A.Esparta made a substitution. Oswaldo Junior replaced Sven-Hendrik Ohmer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Hegoi in the 66th minute of play forced C.A.Esparta's goalkeeper Evelio Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. C.A.Esparta's Oswaldo Junior was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 68th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Junior cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Leopoldo Lop was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 78 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's Oswaldo Junior sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leopoldo Lop narrowly saved just below the crossbar. GRINGO FC's Leopoldo Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oswaldo Junior in the 83rd minute of play. Adrian Hegoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Evelio Salvadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Evelio Salvadore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauricio Rodas in the 94th minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, C.A.Esparta's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Rodas came free, but Evelio Salvadore reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Although GRINGO FC had been in control for most of the match, C.A.Esparta still came away with the win.
