Orlando Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Udalaitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute, one of Culo de Vieja FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Culo de Vieja FC. The referee gave 9 De Julio de Rafaela a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mihnea Sucigan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Culo de Vieja FC's Andres Uzuri. 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, Culo de Vieja FC's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Abechuco came free, but Andres Uzuri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Uzuri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Unai in the 30th minute of play. Culo de Vieja FC's Andres Uzuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mihnea Sucigan in the 34th minute of play. After 37 played minutes Culo de Vieja FC got a freekick which was hit by Eleuterio Corderro. Ernesto Unai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Andres Uzuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andres Uzuri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihnea Sucigan in the 40th minute of play. Orlando Chorache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrado Udalaitz in the 43rd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Conrado Udalaitz made the kick off in the second half. Orlando Chorache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Sindo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to Culo de Vieja FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eleuterio Corderro hit a great ball. Conrado Udalaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Chorache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. When Conrado Udalaitz came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Culo de Vieja FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Udalaitz couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Unai hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Conrado Udalaitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Orlando Chorache read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Andres Uzuri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Unai, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th match minute, 9 De Julio de Rafaela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Gongolewicz to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Dan Hansson sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and 9 De Julio de Rafaela's Orlando Chorache didn't even have to move. The supporters of Culo de Vieja FC booed when 9 De Julio de Rafaela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Higinio Shepherd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Hansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Culo de Vieja FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching 9 De Julio de Rafaela's performance. The match ended with a win for 9 De Julio de Rafaela.
