After 52 played minutes C A U got a freekick which was hit by Sven Månsson. Tostão Domingues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo de Lima in the 53rd minute of play. Tostão Domingues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo de Lima in the 56th minute of the match. Ramon Maidana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Ignazio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Marcos Soin fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marcos AFC's protests and gave Marcos Soin a yellow card for diving instead. C A U's Nico González was substituted for Aurelio Ignazio. The supporters of C A U booed when Marcos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Soin didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the C A U players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Marcos AFC.
