Sixto Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Otsoko, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Federico Peyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Marcos FC's goalkeeper Sixto Torres, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, D10S's Federico Peyo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixto Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. D10S were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after San Marcos FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Esteban Pavon took the corner. With an all-out effort, San Marcos FC's Enrique Suero threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Amancio Frascuelo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a rather tough play, D10S's Federico Peyo got a free kick in the 41st minute. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amancio Frascuelo to make the kick off. San Marcos FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Enrique Suero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maksymilian Wodaszak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dave Macchia might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sixto Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dave Macchia ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurelio Melcon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enrique Suero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Frascuelo went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. 74 minutes into the match, San Marcos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Geoffrey Rémond came free, but Sixto Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Geoffrey Rémond reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sixto Torres. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 83rd minute, D10S's Geoffrey Rémond dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Enrique Suero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maksymilian Wodaszak, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Sixto Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geoffrey Rémond in the 92nd minute of play. The San Marcos FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching D10S's performance. The match ended with a win for D10S.
