El Ciclon de los Milagros's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaitano Olmos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th match minute, FUF F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by La Longa to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Dakota Couzens from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Aurelio Lehen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Thanks to some nice moves Tomás Azubeli could shoot a difficult shot in the 42nd minute, which Aurelio Lehen however easily saved by the left post. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After 50 played minutes El Ciclon de los Milagros got a freekick which was hit by Gaitano Olmos. Tomás Azubeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aurelio Lehen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valentin Guilabertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Ixaka in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match FUF F.C got a corner. El Ciclon de los Milagros's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Modesto Cheche ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 71 minutes, Gaitano Olmos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Ciclon de los Milagros and the FUF F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. FUF F.C's Jose Henric was substituted for Momo Sampler. Valentin Guilabertus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugo Ixaka, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Dakota Couzens hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The El Ciclon de los Milagros supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FUF F.C's performance. The match ended with a win for FUF F.C.
