The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Unax Cabrerizo in the 5th minute of play forced Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Daniel Păvăloae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Bieito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Daniel Păvăloae having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 75 minutes, Daniel Păvăloae successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Resto Casa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergio Dennis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Păvăloae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Bieito in the 82nd minute of play. After having played for 84 minutes, Unax Cabrerizo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Blackened's supporters crossed their fingers, but Unax Cabrerizo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Resto Casa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Sotero in the 87th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Daniel Păvăloae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hector Bieito. Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Manny in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Blackened players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Metal Juniors.
