The crowd rose to their feet as Alejo Montez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving César Guilherme. That made the score 3-0 in the 36 minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hermengildo Hermon in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Braulio Lordi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Hermengildo Hermon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Braulio Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Hermon, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of Se viene el estallido... booed when CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquín Ochoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

César Guilherme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Lebron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th match minute, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fertus Oropesa to maneuver through the defense. In the 67thth minute of the game Julio Endura who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Braulio Lordi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Braulio Lordi made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Victorio Oriol sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute Isaias Maiorga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Braulio Lordi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victorio Oriols short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Braulio Lordi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Braulio Lordi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Isaias Maiorga in the 82nd minute. 84 minutes into the game, Victorio Oriol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Braulio Lordi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE's Braulio Lordi got control of the ball when Richard Dovina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Braulio Lordi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 93 minutes into the game, Armando Gaizko cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. César Guilherme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. For all the effort they put into the match, the Se viene el estallido... players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CLUB ATLETICO RIVER PLATE.
