Atila Edu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Txilar in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Islas Malvinas Argentinas's goalkeeper Ladislao Oliveiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Genaro Suarez. Anastasio Joseph took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Atila Edu. Riquelme Fútbol Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ermegildo Ovando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atila Edu having to interfere. If Delmiro Arotza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Suarez got free with Ladislao Oliveiro in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 44 minutes into the match Genaro Suarez climbed in front of goal and pressed up 1-0 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Ladislao Oliveiro. Atila Edu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Arotza in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ladislao Oliveiro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Riquelme Fútbol Club's Eduardo Salvi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Eduardo Salvi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Islas Malvinas Argentinas's Ladislao Oliveiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eduardo Salvi couldn't finish the play. After having played for 96 minutes, Genaro Suarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riquelme Fútbol Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genaro Suarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ladislao Oliveiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduardo Salvi in the 98th minute of play. Islas Malvinas Argentinas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
