In the 17thth minute of the game Honorio Mikeldi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tartagal FC's Agustin Gonzo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Expreso del oeste's zone, Ismael Licerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernan Fernanco came out of the goal and Ismael Licerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantino Lartaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Agustin Gonzo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hernan Fernanco made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Ismael Licerio sent off a good shot on target. Agustin Gonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Honorio Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 30 played minutes Expreso del oeste got a freekick which was hit by Gaby Diares. Agustin Gonzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantino Lartaun in the 34th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Honorio Mikeldi to make the kick off. In the 86th minute, Ismael Licerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hernan Fernanco was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After some careless play in the Expreso del oeste defense, Ismael Licerio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hernan Fernanco. The Expreso del oeste fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hernan Fernanco should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Expreso del oeste's Dani Alves got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tartagal FC had won after a very even match.
