When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miguel Ángel Gambier made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Islas's Damazy Miarka slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rodolfo Calvet. That made the score 1-2 after 50 minutes of play. In the 55th minute, Kermit Froggaard left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Academia de Campeones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Rodolfo Calvet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Loren in the 60th minute of play. The shot was a little too simple and Rodolfo Calvet could save by the left post. 73 minutes into the match, Islas's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Ángel Gambier came free, but Róbert Fenyves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 75th minute Kermit Froggaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbert Fenyves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Islas's Róbert Fenyves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kermit Froggaard in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Simon Ferrer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Róbert Fenyves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Academia de Campeones made a substitution. Kai Havertz replaced Simon Ferrer. After a rather tough play, Islas's Norberto Librado got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Islas's goal looked a bit too open when Kai Havertz came free, but Róbert Fenyves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Academia de Campeones were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Islas's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cornelio Hernandez took the corner. At last the ball reached Kai Havertz at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Islas. 4-2. Miguel Ángel Gambier took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Róbert Fenyves. Róbert Fenyves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. 95 minutes into the game, Marcial Kepa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rodolfo Calvet. Marcial Kepa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 5-3. Islas's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
