In the 2nd match minute, LegionArgentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Vargas to maneuver through the defense. Paulino Heli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laureano Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Teyo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santos Teyo scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Laureano Estebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Troncos for ever FC's zone, Arnaldo Gabino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Laureano Estebe came out of the goal and Arnaldo Gabino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Julián Álvarez sped through Troncos for ever FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laureano Estebe. In the 18th minute Santos Teyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Estebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julián Álvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florentino Vargas took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Estebe. Laureano Estebe dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Laureano Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Arnas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st minute, Arnaldo Gabino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Laureano Estebe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Lucero in the 39th minute of play forced Troncos for ever FC's goalkeeper Laureano Estebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laureano Estebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julián Álvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 44 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Julián Álvarez sped through Troncos for ever FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Laureano Estebe. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-8 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julián Álvarez to make the kick off. Florentino Vargas was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. LegionArgentina's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience was convinced that Julián Álvarez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laureano Estebe was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 54thth minute of the game Paulino Heli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LegionArgentina's Remigio Cisco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 55th minute, LegionArgentina's Julián Álvarez dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-9. Julián Álvarez hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When LegionArgentina's Froilan Arnas in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Troncos for ever FC's goalie prevented a goal. 81 minutes into the game, Hugo Joanes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-13. Laureano Estebe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of LegionArgentina booed when Troncos for ever FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amador Rivas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Estebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julián Álvarez in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Santos Teyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Estebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laureano Estebe made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Arnaldo Gabino sent off a good shot on target. 97 minutes into the match, Troncos for ever FC's goal looked a bit too open when Julián Álvarez came free, but Laureano Estebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Troncos for ever FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LegionArgentina were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
