Guansa's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Paulino Erruki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Paulino Erruki almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Guansa's Alfonso Lauro did a great save. Paulino Erruki got in the 11th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Alfonso Lauro. This was a shot which ended in a score of 1-0. Juventus's Wincenty Kaszubowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albino Elequemedo in the 17th minute of play. Humberto Ralondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Alfonso Lauro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Juventus's goal looked a bit too open when Albino Elequemedo came free, but Wincenty Kaszubowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wincenty Kaszubowski prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 34th minute of the match, Humberto Ralondo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfonso Lauro was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Silverio Leobardo scored 2-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfonso Lauro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfonso Lauro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Leobardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Alfonso Lauro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Leobardo in the 47th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
